Augustana men’s golf finished fifth out of eight teams at this year’s CCIW tournament at the Prairie Landing Golf Course in West Chicago, Ill.
Illinois Wesleyan won the tournament, winning with a combined score of 1164.
Augustana finished with 1210, 14 behind fourth place Elmhurst college.
Junior Tanner Obal led the way for the Vikings, who finished in 12th place with a score of 300.
Behind Obal was Senior David Ferlmann, junior Eric Swanson and freshman Alex Sierra. Ferlmann and Swanson tied for 20th place and finished with a score of 304. Sierra was right behind them in 20th place with 305.
Sophomore Gabe Askam was the fifth score to be added to the team score. Askam finished in 34th place with a score of 320.
